IPC Nordic Skiing World Championships - Cable 2015

We are truly honored to be a part of this world class event! We are so elated that the U.S. Paralympic Organizing Committee chose Cable, Wisconsin as the place to host this event.

Information about this event:
The International Paralymic Committee Nordic World Championships are in the U.S for only the second time in history! This is the first World Championships in the U.S since 9-11.In a non-Paralympic year the World Championships have the highest prestige status and the highest importance of any athletic sport in the World.

Adaptive sport athletes from 20 countries will represent their National Team, competing for the coveted title of World Champion. Athletes will spend 12 grueling days competing for the title of World Champion! They will compete in cross country races of various lengths, individual sprints, team relays and the Biathlon.

All ski events are free of charge for spectators and will be held at Mt. Telemark just 3 miles east of Cable on Highway M. Spectators are also invited to enjoy the Opening and Closing ceremonies lakeside at Lakewoods Resort. Spectators can take in nightly awards ceremonies at Lakewoods Resort while we crown the new World Champions! is the Paralympic website.
